Ricardo Ferrer 李家豪![]() CO-FOUNDER AND CEO
Ricardo was born in Barcelona, where he was immersed in the world of fashion and Luxury Brands since very young. On his father's side, the family has produced high quality shirting fabrics since 1881, so stories of meetings with Ralph Laurent, the Zegna Family, Paul Smith etc. were common conversation topics at the family table. Ricardo moved to Hong Kong in 1993 where he met and later married a local Eurasian, starting his immersion in to the Chinese culture. In Hong Kong he started his business of garment making for European brands, like Carolina Herrera, Adolfo Dominguez, Zara group, Cortefiel group and El Corte Inglés group. Having lived in Shanghai since 2006, he has had the privilege of watching China from two of its most dynamic cities: Hong Kong and Shanghai. Living in Shanghai and speaking Mandarin has enabled him to understand the intricacies of the Chinese mentality (having a Shanghainese mother in law also helps), and meet the local players in fashion and luxury, who are now based mainly in Shanghai and Beijing. Ricardo has experience in building E-commerce Platforms, managing Chinese and Western Social Media, and offline selling channels in China and Hong Kong. He is frequent speaker related to Entrepreneurship in IESE Business School and CEIBS Business School . He also participated in TEDx in Shanghai. Ricardo also teaches local professionals on Chinese Social Media and E-commerce in Conde Nast Centre of Fashion and Design. Ricardo has a degree in Business Administration from Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, (Barcelona), and a postgraduate degree from I.E.S.E. (Spain). Since Carmen’s entry into the industry in 1992, approximately 10,000 jobs have been created from her investments. Katja was born in Hong Kong, and studied Law in the UK and Germany. She is mixed Chinese and German. She worked with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer for 20 years, first in Mergers, Acquisitions and IPO's , and during the last 11 years she worked in contracts and negotiations between local Chinese companies and western ones. She has experience in Joint Ventures, Partnerships and all related contracts. Katja can speak, read and draft contracts in Chinese, English and Spanish, and is fluent in French, Italian and Catalan |
